Is it worth redoing my biology a level

I'm in my A2 year atm and last year I did bio a level for as (got a D :frown: ). I decided to drop it as my other a levels were much higher but now I regret not taking it on at A2. I really enjoyed bio at AS but lost concentration due to being overwhelmed with my other courses and not revising until a few days before. I told my mum about maybe repeating my bio a level via a distance learning course next year when I'm at uni. I'm doing English and I've heard English has very low contact hours so I believe it would be possible. The only thing putting me off is the cost, and whether it's worth my time and effort or not. What do you think??
