    Well , I never came across this question b4 but I guess it is : This means that the carbon nanotubes are extremely small ( using physics knowledge and adding that its x10^-9 m )

    Metre -> centimetre -> millimetre -> nanometre

    The term 'nano' tells you that the diameter (distance from one side of a circle to the opposite side) of each carbon nanotube is extremely small, a tiny fraction of a millimetre.

    It is a one mark question so
    that they are very smallor1-100 nanometres or a few(hundred) atoms
