Lse second year accommodation help!!!

Hi everyone so I have a friend in his first year at LSE staying at Bankside. He hates it there and is really struggling to find anywhere else vaguely affordable.
Also, he has found it really difficult to socialise at Bankside, so does anyone have any good tips about LSE accommodation which has a friendly atmosphere and where it is easy to meet people? I find bankside to be like a cross between a hotel and a prison .. :/
I also don't think he is 100% against flat sharing, he just needs some options :smile:
