Hello, I am looking for people who study Drama at one of these places or for kind souls who can be bothered to read my list of reasons and offer me tips on which place sounds right for me. THANKS! <3
So a bit of background about me: I'm a 21-year-old woman, I have had some previous negative experiences at Uni before and I am ready for a fresh start with drama! My main family lives in mainland Europe, my (current) boyfriend of 2 years lives in London and my dad lives with his wife in Kent. I have 5 unconditional offers for UK Unis:
1)Kent is close to home, close to my dad, and I like the course, the societies look great but I am a little bit underwhelmed by the Campus.
2) Aberystwyth is faaaaaar out but I like the sea a lot and the degree structure looks OK.
3)Birmingham has the BEST course but I don't think I could stand being in such a massive big place again (I previously dropped out of Warwick).
4)Reading is a good location and a nice campus but the course is too theoretical I think, not sure though.
5)Exeter is miles away, I HATED the staff, disliked the students, (when I went on an open day), quite prestigious for drama but no thank you. I happen to really like that part of the country though.
A couple more things about me:
- I am not that bothered about reputation
-I am into performing at open mic nights and singing, dancing, yoga and acting
-I have had a rough few years and wellbeing (low stress, self-care) is my TOP priority.
Thank you so much!!!
And actually passed?
