I can't break the cycle ever,can I?

I've been on a diet since Xmas. I've lost 2 and a half stoneishh. But in the last month or so I've been slacking. In the last week I've just had one clean day,one binge day,one clean day,one binge day. YOu get the idea. I'm just so frustrated. I can't believe how stupid I'm being and how I'm undoing all the hard work I've done. I go to the gym a lot as well and try adn miminise the effects but I just want to break this cycle once and for all and get on with my diet. I just wanna lose just under a stone then I'll be happy. My eating habits are screwed and I am fixated with food it's all I think about.
Please help me, I'm considering just not eating,it seems easier:frown:

I think I understand what you mean. I love it when I get to the end of the day and have finished my eating for the day and can forget about it. At the moment I feel like I'm constantly worrying about and preparing for my next meal.

Of course, common sense tells us that we have to eat (to stay alive and healthy!) so it really is not easier to stop eating altogether. It sounds like you have done amazingly well to get as far as you have done, so well done! If you're having an off-period then maybe you could think about changing your diet? For example have lots of smaller meals, or the opposite if that's what you're already doing.

If you're binging one day and doing fine the next, then you're not putting on weight so you're halfway there. Of course you have to remember to have a treat every so often to prevent you from binging. Myself, I allow myself one piece of chocolate a day, and learing to restrict myself to this one piece has really helped in stopping the yucky binging cycle. Don't think that you are being stupid, because you're not! and thinking about it and worrying about just makes you feel bad, which makes you (well it does me) eat etc etc. (as you probably already know!)

Please don't stop eating, you've managed to come this far so all you have to do is get back on track. It could just mean changing what you are doing slightly so that your body doesn't get 'bored'. Hope I've helped  good luck x

You need to make a lifestyle change rather than 'just a diet'

Don't allow bingey food into your house. Tell people to stop you if they see you.

Find healthy foods that you LOVE so you won't need to binge on crap because these new foods will be your new addicitions.

Just.. keep it up.

You just need to find a way to get motivated.

Oh and not eating will just make you fatter in the long run..
