    Critically analyse the issues of statutory interpretation raised in the Ghaidan v Godin-Mendoza case. Can anyone please help. Thanks 1st year law student

    Just do your research.. text book and case if need be. the case isn't that long. If you cnat do that then google or better still research a few articles..

    What was the issue in question?
    What would have been the normal interpretation of the Rent Act? What result would that have had?
    What did the 98 Act require the judges to do?
    How did they apply this to the case?
    What was the result?
    What was the significance of that in general and for stat interpretation?

    Once you understand how it works as above then you have the research needed to be able to write your essay.
