    Hello everyone,

I have to teach my class for 30 minutes on a subject of my chose.

I have chosen to teach the class about endocrinology.

I am thinking about doing a power-point presentation on the endocrine system and the diseases that can affect it, asking people questions about hormones. in addition to a quiz and worksheets.

How can I make the lesson interactive/fun?

Idk how willing your classmates would be, but possibly using each person as a different hormone/gland, having a diagram on the board, and making them interact with each other as you detail how the hormones interact with each other then where in the body this happens?

    You should start by saying

    PSEUDOPSEUDOHYPOPARATHYROIDISM

YES, that is a real disease with the longest name of any disease! And by the end of this lecture you will understand what it is!

Don't really explain it though, that would be boring. Just keep going and people will pay attention just because they will be anticipating the bit where you explain what it is.

Then just link them to: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseu...parathyroidism

Would help if we knew what RQF level we're talking. If it's schoolkids, then get them to roleplay then discuss expected endocrine responses :woo:
