    ive been working really hard but i am still getting c's and d's in my biology as aqa exam can someone tell me where i am going wrong

    It's quite difficult for us to see where you're going wrong without knowing about any of your working habits
    Do you understand the content? Is it your exam technique do you think? or maybe your revision strategies aren't working for you - perhaps try some new ones

    Have you tried self marking a past paper? Handy diagnostic tool. Either you dont know your stuff=revise or your exam techniquie is shite=more past papers.

    I found that doing past papers and marking your own (being harsh on yourself too) was really helpful. Often questions are repeated so if you learn what they generally want to see hopefully your grades will boost.

    That's kind of the cheater's way of doing things though. If you really want to understand the content more, you should do the above, but also try explaining a concept to yourself or someone else. I found that speaking an answer out loud really helped me remember it more.

    I find that its not the content that makes me lose marks, but it's the wording of the questions on the papers - that seems to be where i always go wrong
