I am doing triple science (AQA) and i am revising unit 2 and have done past papers and i get high Ds and its really annoying me because i have put tons of effort in and it feels like it is making no difference. However the catch is that in march I got high Bs in the mocks. Why has this happened? Is it just me performing under pressure at the time or just luck. Is anyone else having anything similar or had anything similar.

That's ridiculous. A B grade is like 27-30/60 (usually anyway), yet you can't score within this range. By "high Ds" you're saying you get 15-20 out of 60?

When you get high D's is it practice at home? Sometimes people work better under a test environment so subconsciously you may just not be trying as hard when you practice on your own.

Good! I was kind of worried for you there. In the future, to check your grades, make sure you use the UMS Converter! (This is AQA's tool that helps you distinguish between grade boundaries).

triple science usually have lower grade boundaries, because they take in account the work load in 2 years (if you're doing it all at the end in y11) good luck
