Hey,
So in a practical When I added Nitric acid and silver nitrate it produced cream ppt and adding dilute ammonia produced no visible change. This suggests that it contained Iodide ions. However, when Sulfuric acid was added a white ppt was observed and also when sodium hyrdoxide as well. Adding excess NaOH resulted in no visible change.

I hope someone can help me out.
