Your second line is wrong - you've made a common error.

Remember the algebra rule : do the same to the whole of the left-hand-side as you do to the whole of the right-hand-side.

So if you want to multiply both sides by 2 you have:

2p=2(3x+πx2)\displaystyle 2p = 2\left(3x+\frac{\pi x}{2}\right)

2p=6x+πx\displaystyle 2p = 6x + \pi x

There's an error on your second line, where you multiply both sides by 2. (You didn't mutliply the 3x term correctly). Otherwise, it's fine.
