Looking back at my old high school, the people who bullied people the most were always people who wore goth clothes. (my chemical romance, etc.) and would always say how they were bullied and everything yet would treat others like absolutely crap. It was never the football/ rugby players that the media always shows.

Is your proposed analysis that media norms will be picked on less?

If so you may be right.

Think about it, youre more likely to be picked on if you have a factor about you that goes against social norms

    eg

weight that doesnt fit social norms
height that doesnt fit social norms
interests that doesnt fit social norms

    etc etc

Being goth is rarer than playing football and playing rugby, therefore you are more 'out of the ordinary' compared to the social norms and media portrayals hence a higher chance of being bullied

however the golden rules are still there

    1) Have confidence-in your words/actions/posture/tone
    2) Be confident-martial arts/alertness

Searched lackeys to see what it means.

a servant, especially a liveried footman or manservant.

a brownish European moth of woods and hedgerows, the caterpillars of which live communally in a silken tent on the food tree.

    Hate those brown winged freaks.
