opsss, I like my teacher, need advice

I study at the Uni and I have one teacher, who is extremelly smart and just wonderful. Recently I've figured out that I startedto think about him rather a lot and I understood that I really really like and want him. He is not this old (about 35) and not this handsome, there is just smth in him that attracts me.
I know that since I like him, I want to find any signs he likes me too and I do find them, liek he always looks at me at our classes and today when we talked he got all red in face and was for some reason very nervous so much, that dropped his cell on the floor.
I will have an exam with him on monday, it is a tet-a-tet examen and we will be alone in the room. I want to let him know that I like him but how do I do that? I wanted to send him an ecard, (i know his email address coz sometimes we 'talked' via email, discussin exam) saying smth like 'I am sad u won't be our teacher next year..' what can I tell him to let him know I like him, so if he likes me too, he will do some steps, but in a very delicate way so, that he won't have a need to say 'u understoon me wrong' ?????
p.s. I know u can tell me "uffff, a teacher????? about 35 years old?????? forget about him" but he won't be my teacher next year anymore and he doesnt look old at all..

may be try to send him this ecard, and if he really likes you he will answer you. But u know it is better to forget about him, coz its not good to mess up with teachers...

It's not really unusual for people to have relationships with Uni staff. There are lecturers at some Unis with reputations for picking up a different student each year. You could 'accidently' bump into him in a coffee bar or something, and take it from there.

Just to make sure...are you gay or a girl? I think peopel look differently on a gay relationship between student and staff. If your female, then people may think either he's exploiting you or you're trying to 'boost' your grade through errr, you know. Anway, you've gotta wait until wayyy after your exam-and even after you have got the result for your exam otherwise the uni might not look favourably on the situation. Possibly even call an official investiagtion or something.
