iGCSE English Language (0522) May 03 2016 Marks for an A watch

    Hi the igcse is 40% coursework, 20% speaking and listening and 40% exam
    I got 31/50 in the coursework and 24/30 in my s+l
    Can someone tell me what I need in the exam out of 50 on Tuesday to receive an A?

    task 1 is out of 40 (40 marks for writing)
    task 2 is out of 40 (40 marks for writing)
    task 3 is out of 50 (40 marks for writing + 10 marks for reading)
    You take the average the marks out of 40 for writing and add on the 10 marks for reading to get your final mark out of 50

    so if you got 35/40 in task1, 37/40 in task 2, and 45/50 in task 3 (36 for writing and 9 for reading), then your final mark is (35+37+36)/3 + 9 = 36+9 = 45
