I am having ALOT of trouble coming up with a topic for my IOP. I have managed to choose a book, Lame Deer Seeker of Visions, which is about the life and history of a Sioux Lakota medicine man told orally and then transcribed in the 60's. There is a lot that can be done with the piece as it is told and structured in accordance to his traditions, and contextually it is very interesting ( the 60;'s and the civil rights movement). If anyone has read it and/or has any ideas please help me out.
