So, I've been talking to this guy for a while. He lives in a different city to me. But we both really like each other. He says when we meet up he wants to ask me out. This is irrelevant.

Anyway, he went away yesterday and said he'd be back that night. He doesn't get signal or wifi there but he'd message when he got back. It's already like kinda late and he hasn't messaged. It's stupid but I'm worried that he's ok. Do I send a pointless message asking if he's ok, or do I just leave it?

Leave it till tomorrow to ask how his trip went or he might text you tonight.

Since you've been messaging "awhile" it's not a big deal - chill out and wait a few days even - you're over-thinking it

Surely when you meet up that's in itself already asking you out?

Best bet is just text him tomorrow and see if he replies then.

Leave those 'worry' messages for his Mum to do. He's allowed to be busy or change his plans.
