Hi I need someone's insight into this choice, I'm probably over thinking it.

So I know the deadline for accepting offers is 3 days looming but I haven't yet decided which university to take Music & English joint honours. I've just come back from visiting Southampton on an open day and I loved it, more than Royal Holloway in fact. However I'm still not 100% sure.

Southampton is so much nicer to be in than Egham (had to say it) but the city is just more lively and bustling which suits me more. The music department I also feel is a lot better than at RH but I'm not entirely sure because at their open day we were hardly shown any facilities and it was all very disorganised which kind of put me off.

RH has such a beautiful campus and library which I fell in love with but is that really what matters when it comes down to it? I don't want to be stuck in a small music room hating my course just because I liked the architecture of the buildings?

I think ultimately Southampton is winning me over more but can someone give any reassurance or opinions on this? Thanksss
