My parents are very abusive to me when ever things don't go their way. Whenever that happens I just stay away from them. My mum physically hurts me as well as mentally and my dad is emotionally and mentally abusive. I depend on them at the moment since I'm recovering from depression and psychosis which I blame on them. I want to know if any of you have abusive parents and does it affect your relationship with a partner or finding someone to love. I have never been in a relationship and I'm in my twenties. I'm a girl by the way.

Psychological research would say yes, but in reality, you have complete control over your choices, actions and entire life.

Are you aware of what a healthy relationship is? If yes, then you won't have any issues finding one for yourself.
If you consider your parents relationship to be healthy, then you may need to do some self-discovery and research. Popular TV shows/Movies or role models will give a good 'idea'.
