    Hello

I recently completed 3 years in the UK and applied for student finance before 24th March so that the new 5 year rule would not affect me.
My question is if I would be eligible for the maintenance loan next year( by which time I would have completed 4 years in the UK) ?

We've had confirmation on TSR that continuing students who have been classed as eligible under the 3 yr rule will get funding for the rest of their course. This does mean though that you cannot change course as you'd then be classed as a new student again.
