What is the difference between Relative formula mass, molecular formula and empirical formula? I am sooooooo confused rn

    Thankyou

And if anyone has any revision sources on these that would be fabulous!

Relative formula mass is all of the relative atomic masses added together (bigger number from the periodic table). So for H2O it'd be 1+1+16 (two hydrogens and one oxygen)

Molecular Formula is the chemical formula of a molecule, this could be something like H4O2

Empirical Formula is the Molecular Formula in it's simplest ratio, so for the above example it'd be H2O
