I listen to music with little or no vocals. Basically OSTs.
It provides me with energy to do revision, if you get what I mean, if it's fast paced and such.

but then again I'm mainly distracted by my phone during any revision...

DON'T listen to music whilst revising. Even if you think you can work fine with it, you'll work better without.

Half and half, depends what kind of music it is. If it's music I love then I can't listen to it, if it's music that I think it's ok then it can help. But generally it is distracting, I never end up doing my work.

If you're used to it (I am) then sure. If not I probably wouldn't recommend it

That honestly depends on the person and is not true for some.

supposedly music without lyrics is the best if you really want to listen to music while revising

here's my playlist you'll find at the top NCS releases and some Fatrat releases some of them do have lyrics some don't.

I like listening to French music while revising & I like watching semi-boring series on netflix. I feel I work better with something playing, but not with youtube/something I need to keep clicking and changing. I watch 'once upon a time' a lot while revising because it's not THAT bad but it's a pretty boring show so I don't get distracted watching it, but I still have something playing
