I am planning to apply for MSc in Software Engineering. I am an international student and would like to know more about the interview process. Could someone please help me?

    1. Are interviews mandatory? I mean, will everyone be interviewed before admission?

    2. If yes, for internationals, what is the process? Do they do it on Skype?

    3. How long does the interview last?

    Thanks in advance.

They seem to invite some internationals to interview days, some have skype interviews and some sit an assessment test. If you have an on-site interview it'll last around 30 minutes.

I'm pretty sure a large majority of those who got offers for Computing (Software engineering etc) this year were interviewed and the rest took an online test. You don't get to choose but it is more likely that you'll be interviewed. If you're international and can't go for a serious reason they will most likely schedule a skype interview (i have a friend who did that). Otherwise you fly there and attend an interview day (which is what I did). The interview is roughly 30 minutes.
How are you feeling about your exams?
