There is a posibility.

Reply 2

Depends on lots of factors. Take a pregnancy test.

Reply 3

would depend on different factors really. ie. if he had ejaculated previous, if he had urinated before having sex etc.
if theres no other form of contraception being used the withdrawal method is in no way going to suffice. its a bit like a lottery, you could do it loads without reprocusions or do it once and pregnant.
the odds arent worth it really, use another form

are you worried youre pregnant btw?

Reply 4

It's a lot more possible and likely than if you use a condom.

Reply 5

research (and history) has shown that the actual probability is very low. however, it's silly to risk it.

Yes I'm slightly worried that I'm pregnant, I have been having abdominal pains for about 2 weeks since, however no period as of yet. I'm planning to take a pregnancy test. I usually come on my period at the start of the month but last month I came on on the 17th because I was on the pill. I stopped taking it due to side effects and then I made this mistake! eep!
Do you reckon my periods could be the same as usual or effected by the pill I was taking last month?

we don't know, go to your doctor.

^ Ditto, just take a test, that's the best advice anyone here can give.

Reply 9

the cycle could be screwd due to the pill but take a test to put yourself at ease if nothing else

Reply 10

cycles get screwed for more reasons than there is for it to be normal. Stress, under eating, over exercising, just randomness, less vitamins, illness etc.

and it future, use protectioN!

i feel so motherly

Reply 11

Take a test and dont be so silly next time, clue up on your sexual health.

Reply 12

It's really not a method.

Hi all.
What are the chances of getting pregnant if you have unprotected sex but the guy withdraws before he climaxes?

Thanks xx

Not much less than if he doesn't. It's still too risky.

Reply 14

The chances are REALLY low. But it still isn't worth the risk.

I really don't think its a good idea either, but lets not be silly. The difference in chances of getting pregnant between actual ejaculate and just pre-come is fairly big. It is still possible, but not very, and certainly nowhere near the risk of getting pregnant by having someone come inside you without protection.

So STD's dont even factor into your theory then

Not even a little bit. Mainly because the discussion is about whether she's pregnant... Whether he comes inside her or doesn't, theres the risk of exposure to STD's. But as far as i'm aware, sperm doesn't carry STD's, so i'm not sure why you think my theory had anything to do with them...

She should use protection and get him either tested or gloved up, but that wasn't what i was talking about.

Reply 18

It's not impossible, because 'pre-come' fluid may have entered your body. Get a test, asap, and why on earth did you not use protection?

...so how does it get passed on then :s-smilie: im saying that pregnancy isnt the only thing she should be worried about.
