does everyone when the y start sixth form or college have to pick 4 as subjects to start with ???

In my college though, many people dropped the fourth one after a few weeks

Most people do but it depends on your circumstances and the college/6th form you're at. I started doing 4 but then decided to only do 3 after a month or so.

I only did 3 right from the start - it depends on the college so no-one can answer that for sure I'm afraid

I did 5 but that was more choice 3 or 4 is most common, its varies from school to school
