Just make sure your personal statement is flexible and covers all courses. Dont put '' I think a business degree will help me .....'' if you have also applied for a psychology course.

I don't think joint honours is seen as weak, although I'm hardly an expert. If nothing else, it shows that you're good at more than one thing.
Do they actually matter?
