It's a very humanistic style of therapy as far as I know. Although I cannot speak from experience, what I do know about this type of therapy is that you shouldn't pay money for it. It focuses on a lot of "self-help" with added mumbo jumbo to make yourself feel better.

I personally believe in some of the theories that this type of therapy are based on. More precisly the fact that we are individuals and are capable of making our own decisions.

To summarise, if you feel like you can identify your problems, and the source, then you should be able to make your own solutions. But as I said before, be very wary about paying large sums of money (because humanistic therapy is expensive). You can get just as good therapy here on a forum, or talking to a friend, or even anonymous person who may have some good advice.
