Typical British houses do not have garage and most people just park their car beside the pavement.

Wouldn't it be bad for the car to be left outside exposed to the sun and snow ?

Most people I know with garages just use them to throw all their unwanted junk in, so it just becomes a mess.

And most modern cars are made well enough to deal with the conditions in truth, the main issue with street parking is the tw*t who decides to key you car.

The English weather isn't really extreme enough to cause any damage.

Nah. British weather isn't that bad. My parents had a garage but converted it to make the living room bigger.

The biggest worry about on-street parking for me is vandalism. But I've been living in a relatively rough city for a while now and my car's never been damaged (apart from me scraping the wheel trims on the curb when trying to parallel park..) so even that isn't a huge issue.

really it depends on the value of your car
as you find most cars over the £50,000 mark will be garaged as their value is so high
but it does depend on the area and if it is a common car or a rarer car
as well as will any damage be just off to a local garage or dealership or send it back to the factory
