If they walk past the bathroom? Or does the shower drown the noise? Excuse the pun.

yes

reminds me of the time I was in the shower at uni singing away and when I got out, my flatmates laughed and told me that they knew I'd been singing

well I didn't think it was that loud but tbh I suppose it wasn't that quiet either

I suppose if you keep it down relatively low, they wont hear

Just dont sing rock tunes (like Muse) like I was... that's probably why they heard (tend to sing them louder)

oh I was singing mr brightside and thought everyone was in bed but then the shower suddenly stopped (someone running the water downstairs) so they had walked past the bathroom.

My housemate actually stood by the bathroom door and recorded my singing on her mobile phone!

(and I'm not a very good singer)

Contrary to your beliefs, I have evidence from 'Thunderbird 6', which affirms that talking loudly with the shower on shields all. Although the Hood's plan actually did nearly pull off. Yes.

Only if they're outside the door, there's a fan in there wihch tends to drown the noise out, which is a goood thing if you've heard my brother sing in the shower!!
