so I went to the hairdressers to have my hair highlighted and she ended up using bleach on my hair which literally turned my roots white. So a few days after my mum put dye on the roots to darken them using a dark blonde dye but they came out ginger. I don't know what to do and I have a weird two toned hair going on!!! any suggestions on how to fix

Why don't you dye your whole head your natural colour?

The hairdresser has taken all the natural red out of your hair to make your roots white (and why only the roots baffles me - was she a newbie to hairdressing?) My first suggestion is go back to the hairdressers and ask for either a fix to this or a refund.

I cannot stress enough to go back to a hairdressers. Continually putting dye over bleach will either make it look even more gingery etc or make your hair snap and damaged.
If you want to go darker and avoid being green - put the red tones back into your hair.

Something my friend did was dye her hair black...but that was extreme. Last year when I was having a hair nightmare I contemplated going back to bright red hair.
