Hello everyone, I'm doing the OCR Government and Politics Specification, and my teacher has set us an essay to do in class next week.

The title is "Discuss the view that the results of the 2010 and 2015 general elections can be explained by the policies of the Conservative Party." I'm not entirely sure how to structure this.

Would I talk about the 2010 general election in the first half, and then the 2015 general election in the second half? Or should I mix them together? Regarding the latter, I'm concerned I will get muddled and it won't make much sense as to which general election I'm talking about.

I think I'm okay for the content of the essay, but any tips on how to structure this essay would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

    Hiya,

Yes, I would do 2010 first and then 2015, perhaps using 2015 to compare to how Tory policies have/have not changed?

Than you for your help, due to the time constraint I decided it was better to almost merge them together, by saying how the Tory polices haven't really changed.
