    Hey guys,

I'll keep it short but basically I'm currently in my second year studying Events Management (4 years with placement). Sadly my Mum passed away 2 months ago. I have had time off and missed loads of uni work but uni have been great and are now giving me replacement cwk over summer and allowing me to take my exams in August before starting placement in September (however I haven't found one yet).

I thought this plan would work well however I am feeling very unmotivated and stressed out with all the work. I have considered some other options and am looking at transfering to another university (closer to home) where i can redo second year and go straight into third year.

I just wondered if anyone had an advice on transfering uni? and whether its still easy to make friends? also advice on commuting from home?

    Thanks,
