Shoes for narrow feet?!

Hi all, I have extremely narrow feet (size 3-4) and I struggle to find shoes that fit...
I have to wear insoles with everything- sometimes even two! However, this makes the shoes fit depthways but still wide if you get what I mean...:s-smilie:
Does anyone have any ideas? Places I could buy shoes from?
thanks

I have size 3 feet too
But I don't usually find problems with size 3 shoes fitting.
Are size 3 shoes still too wide for you?

Yep :frown: But this doesn't matter so much with flats...just heels.
Oh, and I've yet to find a pair of boots that fits right. They're always oose round the calf, even these ones i got from Ravel Kids lol

Hmm.
I'm not very sure on places to get shoes that are narrower, but I can fit into shoes in New Look and TopShop etc.
I love it when it's the sale and all the size 3 shoes are in it >_>

Actually yeah River Island's ok, still a bit loose but better than say schuh or somewhere. New Look...too wide lol

Reply 8

Lol, yeah.
You must have really skinny legs if some kid boots are big on you
What about Faith or Dune?
Or Barratts?

Reply 9

some dolcis shoes are narrow try them too

Reply 10

Yeahhh I hate my figure lol. I'm a very disproportionate size 8....twiggy limbs and fat stomach :frown:

Reply 11

Dolcis is too wide hehe
Argh lol, I do appreciate all this help though  xxx

Lol, I'm trying to get my stomach down at the moment too.
The fitness board tells me I should do cardivascular.
ie. I need to start running regularly -.-

Reply 13

Gah! I should too lol. My problem is I go tubby during exams anyway as I just lead a hermit like lifestyle til they're over, but I've also got a broken arm which stops me exercising :frown:

Reply 14

I googled some sites for narrow shoes, but the designs aren't very nice :frown:

Reply 15

Lol, that's exactly my excuse for my gains in weight xD
I've never gained weight till recently...
When I had my exams....

Reply 16

Exams...meh. lol:biggrin:
And yeahh, I've tried googling hundreds of times lol but a) they're all awful and b) theyre expensive! www.duoboots.com is the only half-decent one, but then again it is steep...
I'm destined to not wear heels methinks!!

I have the same problem but i managed to find boots which fir me around the calf. They are from the Jasper Conran collection at Debenhams. They wern't too expensive either i think around £75 originally but they were on sale when i got them. A lot of New Look's shoes fit narrow feet as well.

I worked in Clarks shoes in the kids section for a year and a half so I know all about narrow feet lol.

Have you ever had your feet measured properly? If not, I recommend you go into somewhere like Clarks where they can measure both the length and the width.

The thing is, most ladies shoes do come up quite narrow - well in the proper shoe shops, like Clarks, they do anyway. They come up normally at a D width, whereas the narrowest kid fitting is an E width, so the ladies average width is smaller than the narrowest kid fitting!

If you go to get measured, they can usually tell you what the 'problem' is with your feet and why heels aren't fitting. I'd guess that the width of your feet isn't even the only problem - you may have a low instep (ie. that bone on the top of your foot may be really shallow, so your foot isn't essentially high enough to grip the shoes) or your ankle may be really narrow so its not gripping the shoe at the back. Heel grips may help with this.

Woah essay. Good luck!

 Thanks!
I had this foot measuring chart thing from a cataogue once. When I tried it, I was about a B/C width...just to give you some idea lol. But yes, I think I'll go get my feet properly measured, thanku!
