Say there are 3 people, person A says to person C something about person B. Person C is quite taken in and agrees with what person A says.
turns out person A was lying and person B did nothing wrong.
Is it person A or person C in the wrong here?

Person C, you shouldn't believe everything you hear unless it came straight from person B. However person A did lie...

Person A. This reminds me of an argument me and two other girls had at my secondary school
