Can't draw for my life but I love observing art and understanding the contexts of them etc, I do English lit, geography and History A level and I did nothing art based for GCSE, will I be rejected for a history of art course if I don't have artistic skills?

Have you tried looking at university websites?

I'm guessing not... York University states that the course "doesn't require you to have any practical art skills, just a keen attention to the visual world and a strong interest in art and architecture."

You wont need to have produced your own work to study art history, unless you are applying for joint fine art and history of art which I assume that you are not. Just use your personal statement to show your interest and passion for art, going to galleries in your spare time, reading art history books or whatever.

Nope and they tend not to favour people who have taken art foundations either. It's a purely academic/humanities subject.
