Am I the only one that finds it near impossible to write these essays?

Every time I try I fail to scrape past a C at best. The questions are strangely worded and it's practically impossible to fit in a) description, b) analysis and c) judgement for various ideas within 270 words. I never quite understand what the question demands and it's hard to phrase my ideas - though I have many to express.

Does anyone have tips for writing this essay (regardless of book/film)? Like a foolproof structure to follow that allows you to include all a)b)c) aspects? At my wit's end!

    Thanks in advance
