Little suprises

Throughout our 4 year relationship, I have tried to suprise my girlfriend with little prezzies... 'just because'. This sounds incredibly sad, and while I am insensitive and discerningly not lovey-dovey, I know that she likes feeling wanted, loved and appreciated. I have suprised her with weekends away, presents for no reason, white gold earrings, dining out, dining in, exclusive concert tickets to her favourite band, 12 bouquets of flowers, petal filled baths and numerous visits to the opera, I am stuck with regard to what I can next offer. This is important as we are going to seperate uni's this September and I really want her to feel special and appreciated before she goes... after all, she's worked hard to get there. Any passed experiences that have gone down well? Also, anything that you would like your partner to suprise you with would be appreciated!

Thank you all

romantic picnic in a picturesque location?

I plan to take her for a picnic down the canal in Venice after a trip to the Gugenheim. She's an art student so she'd love that. It's a bit pricey though, and I can't afford it!

I'm sure there are plenty of things you could surprise her with, which are just as nice, yet not so extravagant.
Take her to the cinema, cut a hole in the bottom of the popcorn tub, put your willy in and wait for her to find it - then go "SURPRISE!!!"

I like the idea but I'm not sure it would go down well. Could try tho lol!

how about a hot air balloon ride over a beautiful lake followed by a picnic with champayne and roses, and a evening stroll on a gorgeous beach hand in hand watch the sun go down!!

sounds abit corny obviously eat after the balloon to prevent attractive sickness lol

hahahahaha

one thing I can never get enough of is physical attention. like, a massage or playing with my hair etc

or, how about:
a picnic
get a rowing boat out on a lake
visit an art gallery or museum or something cultural
I don't know what she's into.

I like it! Very romantic. See, this is what I want! I just want to suprise her without resorting to personal economic ruin. I don't mind spending money as long as she feels great. She has problems with self confindence so this is incredibly important to me.

well none of us know your girlfriend. but i'd much prefer something that had a lot of personal effort put into it that something which was expensive.

do you play music or write poetry? or are you artistic?

I'd love a picnic and a rowing boat on a lake... reminds me of The Notebook
be her slave for a day?
Bloody hell, you make me feel so young, even though i'm older than you...

Opera
Flowers
Hot-Air Baloons

Give me Mcdonalds anyday!

I'd go with an art museum here. i dont know where you live but perhaps take a trip down/up/accross to london and have a look at the art museums there, most of them are free too or discount for students and you can find a nice restaurant or something after - or the london eye.

Or a show of some sort?

Paul - does she give you little surprises like this as well? How about you suggest she does something for you?
