    Hi guys,

Im wondering what the exact mode features are for internet forums/ websites..

Do they both go under blended mode with more spoken mode features in internet forums? Synchronous /asynchronous? I know both are planned, visual etc

    Please help if you can!

Anything that is usually typed (websites, texts, forums, social media, etc) are electronic mode.

You should only refer to blended mode if they show sign of 2 (or more) modes. Speeches are usually good as it is written mode but also spoken because it is a piece of writing that is only delivered verbally.

Electronic communication is more informal and you could go with that angle, but I would not call it blended. They may show some signs of colloquialisms, slang and informal words/phrases. But the main audience for electronic mode is typed to be read, not to be spoken aloud.

Spoken mode is often spontaneous, even interviews but what you have to remember is how these modes are received by their audience.
