Doesnt matter, just make sure it has water and some dry food, then it will eat when it wants.
Theres always the chance its found somewhere else to eat (if you let it out) so dont worry just yet.

Cats seldom overeat, unlike dogs ( I have both)
Both eat less and drink more when they are hot.

My cats do the same. I wouldn't worry about it. Always make sure it's accessible to them and they'll figure the rest out :emog:

Yeah all of my cats are like that during the warmer months, even Rambo who eats more than the other 3 cats do on any given day.

Just make sure there's plenty of water out for them and leave small amounts of food out at a time because flies love cat food, especially wet food and they can leave their eggs on the food and that will put cats off it eating it even more. I've found that my cats don't like drinking from a bowl even though we always leave a bowl out for them. They prefer to drink for the tap or shower so in the summer we leave the bath tap running constantly at a low pressure and they drink from that instead for some reason.

In warm weather they need less energy to keep warm, so if they kept on eating the same and didn't increase activity to match they'd get fat.
