My lab report is about the relationship between sleep quality and self control and additionally the effects of circadian preference (Wether you prefer morning or evening ) and from our results we found that :
found a negative correlation between the quality of sleep and self control for all participants and evening participants and no relationship for morning types. what does this mean can somebody please help what I could interpret from this.????

Its your research but you don't know what it means? How an earth are we suppose to know?

When quality of sleep? increased self control? (whatever that is) decreased in evening participants? or it may be the other way around, look at your data.
And there was no relationship between sleep and self control with the morning participants.

So depending on what your null hypothesis was (if you predicted there would be a relationship) you would now have to reject it and use your alternative.
