Changing course through EXTRAS 2016

Hi guys,

I didn't get any offer from my 5 choices for children nursing, so my Plan B was to go through extras and apply for adult nursing. One of the Uni has replied back inviting me for a selection day, although my personal statement was still targeted for children. Is that even possible, or did they make a mistake and didn't even bother reading my personal statement?
I'm afraid when I get there they'll straight up reject me.
