I'm turning 18 soon and my mum keeps asking what I want but I literally don't want anything so what do I say?? Also is there anything I can/should do before I turn 18?

If you don't want anything, just tell her. I barely ever want anything on my birthday, but I like reading so I just say, "If you have to get me something, just get me a gift card, money or some books I might like. But I really don't want anything." My mum is the kind of person who has to buy presents and it makes her happy to do I let her off :-)

Um, rejoice in still being a child for your limited time, I guess. As soon as you're eighteen that's all over.
