I,m 30 so not that young. Shes 40 very beautiful woman who eats well and goes to gym daily and in very well paid job shes got a body girls half her age would be jealous of, nice natural skin i.e not a single wrinkle intelligence and a sweet and gentle woman.

So looks and personality are perfect its simply the age. I dont want to date and find she wants a kid in a year and im not ready but her age means time is running out

Not sure as i really like her.

I would find out what she wants in the near future (in relation to kids marriage and the like) before thinking about a relationship

    I agree with this 100%.

OP, if you know that you can't be able to fulfil the woman's dream then you should not waste any more of her time, because she may not have that opportunity again.

    Take Claireestelle's advice and ask.

Ask her about her plans for kids etc. If they fit with yours and/or you can compromise then why not?

Age difference between couples have a diminishing effect the older each partner gets. 40 & 30 is not uncommon.

    I'm 30 so not that young. She's 40
Been in this position. Wouldn't bother, personally. We're hardwired to find young women e.g. 18-30, most highly desirable. She may look good now but time catches up with us all, sooner or later. Also have to see the bigger picture in terms of kids etc, as you rightly say :erm:
