skin tags
I have a skin tag near the bottom of my neck just above my collar bone. It's never really bothered me before but a few days ago I really noticed it and then today I caught it with my necklace and it bled a bit. I'm thinking of just chopping it off as its only held on by a tiny bit of skin..is this a good idea? Or should I go to the doctor? Also I have one or two *down there* and occasionally I catch one or the other my underwear and it's a bit of a problem when I want to shave. Shall I go to the doctor? Or just do it myself?

Get some cotton and tie it really tight around the skin tag with a knot, this will cut off the blood supply to the skin tag and after a few days it will fall off. This is all the doctor does anyway 
But obviously be careful with infection and that after it does fall off!
Alternatively, just go to the doctors and let him do it x

i got one on the back of my neck and i just went to the doctors and he removed it there and then. they have the skills and tools to do it properly so i would recommend getting them to do it instead of a diy job which could lead to a big scar!

prob best to go to the doctors just incase. But you can always go it yourself as amywalters described. I had one on my arm and it just fell off one day! haha! Got a wee scar now though!
