I've just been going through english literature past papers. I went on the specimen question paper and both the short story question and the OMAM passage looked very familiar so I had a closer look.
The short story question 'How is Mrs Rutter presented in the darkness out there' was used in June 2015. Also the passage in OMAM about Curley's Wife, (beginning with her cutting off the light) was used in June 2012, which the same question 'How is Curley's Wife presented in this passage?'

Have they done this purposely? Surely they would have noticed?
I bet so many people had already done these questions before the exam.
The other short story question on the specimen was 'How are families presented in Something Old Something New', do you think this come come up as the other choice was in June 2015's paper?

There's nothing to say that they can't reuse questions from their specimen papers.
