Yes. But with the original question I don't think it simplfys anymore

In sort (a)/(d) + (c)/(d) = (a+c)/(d)

It's more complicated but that's the gist, we can assume here that both the denominators are 8X just to simplify things.

So, we now have (5x/8x) + (4/8x) can you see how to simplify this?
