So both of our controlled assessments are worth 30% each which is 60% overall and the written exam is worth 40%

The exam is super hard and i already have 40/45 on one of my controlled assessments so if i get 40/45 on my second controlled assessment does anyone know what percentage i may need to get on the exam for a:

This is all based on last year's grade boundaries so could be slughtly different this year.

So last year, it was exactly 80/90 for an A*, so you'd need to get exactly the mark for an A* in the exam, which was 56/80 - maybe aim for 60/80 if you want an A*

If the whole GCSE is out of 300 UMS, you have 162/180 for the CAs. 90% UMS is always A*, 80% is A, 70% is B, etc. So 270/300 UMS is A*, 240=A, 210=B, 180=C.

If you have 162 UMS already, you need:
    108 more UMS for A*
    78 for A
    48 for B
    18 for C
(And nothing more for a D)

So based on last year's grade boundaries you need:
    56/80 for A*
    Between 35/80 and 42/80 for an A
    21/80 for a B
    Up to 24/80 for a C

I included all the reasons in case I've made a mistake, hopefully someone will correct me if so.
