I did my exam for bcs a few days ago but i found out on the same day that i got a D in my coursework. It can still go up or down because it still hasnt been sent off and this is going off of last years grade boundaries. The coursework is 25% and I just did the pracitcal exam which is 35% and the written exam is 40%. I dont wanna jinx myself but i think i did REALLY well and i think i got an A/A*

You really need to know your exact score and then the exact exam to identify the grade boundaries. Almost ceratinly you could still get an A, but you would need to be scoring exceptionally well in the exam and you are talking very high levels A* and a very good A* at that. Without more details its impossible to know what the shortfall is.

Definitely not an A*, but maybe an A if you get around full marks for your exam. Depends on what mark you need overall (exams and coursework) to get an A.
