Here is a situation. The defendant is a minor aged under 15, he firebombed the residence of his previous neighbor who often started problems with his family. The defendant knew theres a chance of endangering life of the resident, but wasnt specifically aiming to kill (reckless as to whether life endangered). This is the defendants first (known) criminal offence.

What is the maximum and minimum penalty for the crime? From what i can tell the offence was pre planned and a firebomb was involved for revenge, I would say the defendant is looking at 1 year DTO minimum and maximum 3 years. Would the defendant be remanded in custody or be out on bail?

What is the most likely sentence and is community service a possibillity? And can i have examples of arson with intent to endanger life, simple arson, and arson reckless as to whether life endangered.
