for my edexcel history coursework my part B question is "how much impact did the supreme court have in changing the civil rights for black Americans in the years 1945-61"

shouldn't they provide you with the sources? for my coursework on ww1 i was provided with a booklet of sources, it was so tedious !!!
but films you can look at is to kill a mocking bird. a film set in the court house itself about a black man wrongly accused of rape.
Selma is another good one and it's recent, it's about the voting rights in selma being denied despite the law has already passed that allowed blacks to vote.
the butler is one of my favourites, it went from the 50s up until 70s and shows how black lives have changed as presidency changed as well.
