I've got offers from both Sussex and Birmingham, where I can firm Birmingham and the put Sussex as my insurance.

But I'm not sure whether locking myself into a course at Birmingham is better than doing it at Sussex. What are the benefits of each side, as i'm still really torn.

You need to look at and compare the course content, campuses, facilities and nearby cities to have your answer.

I don't know so much about politics but Birmingham is streets ahead of Sussex for philosophy.
